Olympian Apartments is a 50-unit senior living development with all units subsidized through a HUD project-based age-restricted Section 8. The property is located at 519 Washington Street SE, Olympia, Washington 98501. The development was originally constructed in 1919 as a boutique hotel and converted into senior apartments in 1978 that offer studio and one bedroom units. All units are located within a six-story, elevator-serviced building. Common amenities include a community room/clubhouse, central laundry, on-site management, elevator, and a courtyard. The property offers ground floor commercial space where there currently resides a Salon Center, an Urban Onion restaurant, an Oly Barber shop, a Christian Science Store, a Chocolate store, and an Exile Tattoo shop; There is another restaurant/retail unit available. It also offers two roof top commercial space which currently houses a T-Mobile store and a Comcast store. Olympian Apartments was acquired by PPD in October 2014 for $3,300,000. Renovations were completed December 2015.
